PSF Vision:
Improved public health status, livelihoods and physical living conditions of least advantaged Bangladeshi population.

PSF Mission:
Palli Shishu Foundation of Bangladesh (PSFB) is non-profit, non-political, independent, national, voluntary association that provides primary health service, legal aid and income-generating programs to least advantaged customers through its facility based services in order to improve quality of life and living conditions in Bangladesh.

Core Values:

PSF's Core Competencies:
PSF General or Executive Board (Policy Making body) is committed and represent a professional group. PSF Executive Committee members are very dynamic and professional health expert especially in the area of child health. PSF has strong network and capacity to influence in Govt. Health Policy making etc. PSF has the ability to integrate health, education & IGA programs with other development interventions leading towards improving MNCH services, quality education and poverty alleviation. The Organization is able to influence policies realted to health, education, Nutrition, Gender & Poverty alleviation.

Operational Structure of PSF:
PSF operates its activities through four major functional program units, namely:

a) General Body
b) Advisory Committee
c) Executive Committe
d) Project Management Unit at head quarter level
e) Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation (RMED) Unit and
f) Program Management Staff at fields.

PSF's Mandate:
PSF's mandate is to cover the nine goals. According to its constitution, PSF's aim is to extend Maternal & Child Health, Education, Income Generatinf Activities and Training, disseminate information and promote conditions for effective participation of the disadvantaged and the poor. PSF's mandate makes it crucial to limit its mark around basic, primary and secondary health. However, PSF has had to make some exceptions on the basis of demands from various stakeholders. It has been engaged in right based campaign focusing on awareness raising for issues like health rights, gender equity, poverty alleviation, quality education, IGA etc. which also has an impact on maternal & child Mortality rate, literacy rate and state of poverty.
